Hello logging railroaders,
a fey days ago, we visited out Friend Ralf, who invited us for an operation session and BBQ. It was a pleasure for me to run the LVLC trains on Ralf’s layout, since I got my US-logtrains from him many years ago.
It was such a nice afternoon/evening, that we continued the next day as well. Here are some photos of my log trains on his wonderful layout.
yesterday, we set up a temporary track in our new backyard and steamed up the Accucraft Shay with a supply train of the Louise Valley Lumber Co. This was the first steam train running in the new garden as well as the last one in 2016 (probable). It was cold, but as in the years before, we didn’t have snow yet.
Anyway, our daughter and I enjoyed the time we spend with the steam train.
We’ll see us again next year 😉

After 4 years, this has been the first official trains on the […]
To start the BBQ season, we were at my parents home and I run my Shay with log train on the garden railroad.

I set up a test layout on the workbench with section tracks and ran my live steamers. The Climax shown in this photos was soled in spring 2014.
On easter, we spend an afternoon at my parents home and we ran some trains in the back yard with my new Shay and dad’s Lumber Jack.
Another operation day was hold in September. My parents had guests and we run some trains on the garden railroad.
